City industrialist Lagadapati Padma has entered the predominantly male-oriented realty sector and associated herself with the RNP Stellar Project along witha Prabhakar, Ramesh Patel and Nishant Chawd. The project is building 195 flats in Kondapur in a G+5 structure.
She said that the main attractions of the project are its location, promoters, the architect, designers and Tata Project Management systems. In realty sector, one has to spend majority of the time in work site dealing with contractors and workers. That is why; the realty sector is predominantly male oriented. When questioned her about her intension of entering the realty sector, she revealed that she is not new to real estate sector as her family is associated with it since long. She claims to have an understanding about this business. Moreover, women are working meritoriously in this sector and capable of multi-tasking balancing both home and work.
Women can work in various related wings of this sector with a positive attitude. They are strong. That is why; many women enter this field across the globe.
