UP RERA fined a buyer for abuse of legal process. The latest decision has been taken as part of the efforts to bring transparency in the real estate sector. Otherwise, there is a danger that RERA will create a sense of cheapness among both builders and buyers. Accountability will be established in the construction sector only if this is done strictly. Moreover, in the future, everyone is free to comply with RERA regulations.
Even Telangana RERA Authority needs to deal with such strictness, however, not sure when that time and day will even arrive.
