To ease traffic congestion, the Telangana government has announced a double-decker elevated corridor between LB Nagar and Hayathnagar in Hyderabad. Spanning approximately 5.5 km, the project is expected to significantly reduce traffic issues on the busy Vijayawada highway stretch.
The ₹941 crore project will be jointly funded by the central and state governments. Once completed, it will benefit around 1.2 million residents across 70 colonies. Tenders are expected to be finalized within six months.
