TS RERA Chairman Dr. N Satyanarayana said that all the agents who conduct transactions in the real estate sector should be registered with RERA. He said this in a training programme for agents held at the CDMA office under the auspices of the Hyderabad Realtors Association (HRA) and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority on Friday. Agents have been asked to take responsibility for the timely submission of quarterly annual reports by builders and promoters.
He reminded that recently, notices have been issued for projects that have not submitted quarterly and annual reports. RERA member K. Srinivas Rao said that agents should provide proper information to buyers on real estate projects. It is advised to have a thorough understanding of the project. Another member, Lakshminarayana, said that transparency can be achieved in the real estate sector by strengthening agents. During the programme, the resource persons handed over the test conduct certificates to the agents.
