Tollywood actress Rashi Singh also aspires to enjoy the kind of life she rightfully deserves in her ideal or dream home. In an exclusive interview, the well-known star from Butaddam Bhasker Narayana shared with us her shopping choices, house improvement tips, and other details about her dream haven.
Interested in learning what lies ahead for our readers, “I have more memories with my brother in my childhood home than ever before,” declares Rashi, “since my brother had to move to Australia at one point. As well as our family dog! What was the role of my pet before Diwali, when the three of us would get so engrossed in creating rangoli outside our home? It was to ruin it (laughs aloud). These are times that will never be forgotten because I even have pictures of them.”
Although the actress holds great sentimental value for her ideal home, to others it may seem like a marketing gimmick in technical terms. “Before I became an actress, I was a completely different person. I was always looking out for luxury at the corners of my home,” the actress says. “Or having my house overly coloured. I have no idea what’s been going on with me lately, but I want my home to be really basic right now. I adore white or beige colour schemes in my home! I like having a balcony or garden with plants. Your picture frames will stand out more if your home is decorated in minimalist colors. That’s my desire! Those hues shouldn’t overshadow the photos I have up on the wall.”
She describes the dream house she has in her heart to us: “I wanted a really big house with a lake view earlier, but then the budget hit me (we both burst into laughter). I realised that I could always take a vacation with a view of the ocean! The best option is a flat because I live alone. I have a peculiarity. The best couch is in my living room, even though my bedroom isn’t the most attractive because I occasionally nod off there. However, I’ll construct my house somewhere where there’s water. Nothing in the house matches the new stuff I recently got, so I really need a lot of advice. I am quite let down. For instance, when I look at Samantha’s house, I want to create a house just like that for myself.”
