Hyderabad to become another Silicon Valley

MD of ANSR Vikram Ahuja has predicted that Hyderabad will emerge as another Silicon Valley after Bangaluru. Speaking to this correspondent on a wide-range of issues, Ahuja attributed this possibility to the support the MNCs get from the state government to set up their units in Hyderabad. Besides, availability of technical pool of talent is another factor. He put the number of qualified technical persons in the country to 54 lakh. Moreover in 2023, 2.9-lakh technological jobs have been created. The nation ranks number one with 36% digital skilled work force, including the Artificial Intelligence.

On the technical skills front, the nation surpassed even the USA. The nation ranked second in AI, ML, Big Data Analytica talent pools. In fact, 14 lakh are employed in Global Capacity Centers. It is likely to cross 30 lakh by 2025. The demand for skilled workforce in the GCC has gone up from 12% to 15%. He remarked that the growth is double than that of the services of the IT units. With regard to Technical job seekers, Hyderabad is on a par with Bangaluru. Since several technical giants are expanding their network in Telangana, Hyderabad is going to become the second Silicon Valley of the country of Bangaluru.
