Hansika Motwani’s new home bares a mini gurudwara

Hansika debuted with the film Mappillai in Tamil after she debuted with the Telugu film Desamuduru. The actress, however, has not been doing many films lately. Her latest which is yet to release where her ex-boyfriend and actor Simbu will be seen playing an extended cameo in the film. That was the last time the actress’ name was pulled in. One to never shy away from the camera, Hansika Motwani has started her own YouTube Chanel and has been uploading videos to keep her fans updated about her lockdown activities. And a house without furnishings is lifeless and bare, much like a book without words.

Now we get to hear her dream home ideas. But before that, let us tell you she told us about a painting made exclusively by her, “Because of this, my home looks like a reflection of my personality and helps feel more like a home. The theme of my paintings in the house is Buddha related, i obsessed with Buddhists. This obsession grew because it carries an intellectual fermentation.” You won’t believe she has a separate gallery of Buddha paintings, seems like she’s ahead of her thinking. “There’s another painting that I just created in fifteen minutes with the help of newspapers and dry pastels. These paintings are exhibited like a flea market right outside my mum’s room is only because I had the dream of putting up an art exhibition for charity purposes which couldn’t happen. Proposing a life of good thoughts, intentions and a straight living — here we are.”

* There was something even more special that she told us, “There is something I made extraordinarily just for my mother when we were shifting to this new house, and that took me almost a year to paint. And moving ahead, what’s another aspiring aspect of my home is a ‘God’s room’ — we have a mini gurudwara in our home which gives me immense happiness. It’s like whenever I step into that room, i am relieved of all my earthly existence. There is peace here!” Family of five, that also includes her two pets, Hansika also has a special room for Bruzo and Murphy. And, guess what? It’s made of complete mirrors. So, simply by adding some DIY decor, she has completely changed the outlook of her new home. She’s basically enjoying the benefits of having art in the home, in whatever form that art may be.
