Hallmark Infracon MD Gopala krishna said that the residential realty market has improved after the Corona pandemic and it is expected to continue to grow in 2023. Speaking exclusively to Real Estate Guru on the occasion of the final stage of Hallmark County Villa project at Osman Nagar, he said that along with the arrival of new inventory in the realty sector, the demand has also increased significantly.

he trend of consolidation of organised branded players in key regions has contributed to increasing market share. He said that the hybrid lifestyle has increased the volume of home sales in the primary and secondary residential markets. This includes first-time home buyers who are upgrading to luxury residences. He said that the realty sector got a fresh reboot after RERA, Covid and GST, with increased transparency, trust, accountability and financial discipline. All these have attracted domestic and global investors to invest in branded portfolios (projects) in Hyderabad.

Rapid urbanisation, infrastructural development and good connectivity have contributed to the growth of the realty market. Diversification of consumers has played a prominent role in driving demand across affordable, mid-range and luxury property segments in top residential markets. Reduction of premiums, higher FSI and relaxation of development regulatory norms in metro cities, have yielded positive results for buyers.

After Corona, a collection of eco-friendly, community living, balcony apartments, home automation, and other modern facilities are dominating the residential segment in the real estate sector. He said that at a time when the realty prices are decreasing internationally, the prices have increased by 5-7 percent in India. He expressed confidence that the real estate market will progress at the expected level in 2023 in the face of steady demand from domestic buyers as well as NRIs. He said that the Indian realty market will become a million dollar market contributing to 15 percent of GDP by 2030.
