Sales of units worth Rs. 87,818 crore done last year
The sales of apartments in the national capital, Delhi, have been brisk. Apartments worth Rs 87,818 crore were sold in Delhi-NCR last year. This value has increased by 23 percent on an annual basis. While the average price of each apartment was Rs. 1.86 crore in 2022, it increased to Rs. 2.29 crore last year, according to JLL India. The average size of apartments and the number of units sold (38,407 units) remained almost the same. In terms of total sales, the value of apartments in Gurugram is Rs. 55,390 crores, while in Noida-Greater Noida it is Rs. 24,944 crores, in Ghaziabad it is Rs. 4,404 crores, in Delhi it is Rs. 2,610 crores, and in Faridabad, it is Rs. 470 crores. Meanwhile, with the development of new infrastructure such as the Dwarka Expressway and Noida International Airport, it is estimated that sales in the residential segment will cross Rs. 95 thousand crores in 2024. The average price per square foot increased by 13 percent, leading to an increase in sales value.
